About Me

Yelena Yantovskaya Barth is a dressmaker and fiber artist located in Northern Virginia. Her works were exhibited in her native Moscow and in the United States. Barth designs beautiful but practical clothing and accessories using mostly natural materials from silk chiffon, to cotton or wool tweeds, to saddle leather. She has a collection of antique buttons and sewing notions which gets used in restoration of vintage items. Being the sole proprietor of “Yelena Dressmaking and Accessories” since 1998, Barth personally attends to every client and garment, and therefore has to limit her clientele to the appointment-based visits in person.
